Billionaires Aren't Earning $2.5B a Day, They're Stealing It

Billionaires don’t create $2.5 billion a day—they’re stealing it from the workers who make everything run.

The rich stay rich because they’re building their fortunes off the backs of the poor. Billionaires aren’t earning $2.5 billion a day—they’re taking it from workers who do all the real work. This isn’t wealth creation, it’s wealth extraction."

Everyone just wants to be wealthy enough that the oppression doesn't affect them as much.

Every billionaire is the result of a failed system.
 in  r/facepalm  1d ago

It’s so sad that this has to be explained. Most people don’t want to eliminate whole groups of people. (I said “most.”). We just want some parity. People shouldn’t have to work 40 or more hours a week at multiple jobs to support people who “run” the company. Are CEOs really worth thousand times the salary of their workers?

I agree! Not that Capitalism should be abolished, but there seems to be unfairness in this out of whack upside down universe we live in! When a company makes a useful product and costs them a dollar then make the unfortunate person who needs it pay through the nose 100 + % over the value of that product, that’s insane! The rich get richer by taking from the poor, and destroy the economy of those poor people who rely on these products! That’s just one example..!

Haha, right? It’s like, how much money do you need before you just say, “Alright, that’s enough—I’m off to live on a beach and sip cocktails”?

Will justice ever be served?
 in  r/LateStageCapitalism  14d ago

The UN, as you said, often gets caught up in the interests of powerful nations, and justice is rarely delivered evenly. Even if a few individuals face consequences, the systems and powers that allow these tragedies tend to stay intact. Honestly, I get why people feel like true justice, on a global scale, is unlikely. But I still think that public pressure, awareness, and accountability matter—even if the justice we get isn’t as sweeping as what we hope for.
